DO YOU OFFER CLASSES FOR BEGINNERS? A.Yes, we offer beginner classes for adults and kids. No experience required. Q. HOW MANY TIMES PER WEEK DO I ATTEND? A.We recommend a minimum of two classes per week. Many students like to attend three or more classes per week. Q. WHAT TIME ARE CLASSES? A.We offer a variety of class times to meet individual needs. Insert your name, e-mail and ph number to receive our schedule and web specials. Q. AT WHAT AGE DO CHILDREN START CLASSES? A.Our Little Samurai program begins at 4yr. Our juniors's martial arts program begins at 7-8 yr. old. And our teen and adults program starts at 14 yr. old. Q. WHAT DO I WEAR FOR MY FIRST CLASS? A.For your trial class, we recommend sweats and a t-shirt. Q. HOW LONG ARE CLASSES? A.Adult classes are one hour. Juniors classes are 45 minutes. Lil Samurai 30 min. Q. HOW MUCH DO CLASSES COST? A.Classes range from as little as $11 to $18 depending on the program you choose. Q. DO YOU OFFER DISCOUNTS? A.Yes we offer a $20 discount per month for a 2nd family member and a $40 per month discount for a 3rd+ family member. Q. HOW IS SENSEI RUOCCO'S INT"L MARTIAL ARTS DIFFERENT FROM OTHERS? A.Sensei Ruocco's International Martial Arts differs in many ways. We empower people through Martial Arts training. Q. HOW IS IMAA MUAY THAI / KICKBOXING DIFFERENT FROM CARDIO KICKBOXING AT A GYM? A.IMAA instructors are highly trained professionals with a minimum of 10 years of experience in the martial arts, teaching authentic and effective Muay Thai Kickboxing techniques that will really work if you ever need them. Many cardio kickboxing instructors have little to no actual martial arts experience and are merely aerobic instructors. Q. HOW MANY CALORIES CAN I BURN IN AN HOUR? A.While we estimate you will burn about 1000 calories in a 1 hour class, many of our students have measured over 1200 calories burned in a one hour class using their own fitness bands. Q. HOW IS THE IMAA WORKOUT DIFFERENT THAN GOING TO A GYM? A.Most people can't stick with the gym. 95% quit after just one month. Its boring and there are not enough reasons to keep you consistent. With IMAAA, you get a 3 dimensional workout which includes total body results + learning self-defense which is a life skill and on top of that, our classes are intriguing and fun! Results, fun and self-defense make it easy to stay consistent and consistency is the key to success! Q. HOW DO I PREPARE FOR MY FIRST CLASS? A.No preparation is needed. Just wear comfortable workout clothes and show up, our instructors will handle the rest! Q. WHAT TYPE OF CLASSES DO YOU OFFER? A.We offer beginner level classes for all age groups as well as intermediate and advanced level classes in our MULTI-STYLE MARTIAL ARTS SYSTEM: Judo, Jujitsu & kickboxing, (Punches, Kicks, grappling and close-range defense) and Muay Thai classes for 14 yr. old and up. Q. WHAT DO I NEED TO KNOW BEFORE I START CLASSES? A.You don't need any previous experience. Just show up in some comfortable workout clothes and our professional staff and instructors will make sure you have a great workout and learn a skill that will change your life! Q. DO I HAVE TO COMPETE? A.No, competition is not required. However, for those students interested, we do offer the opportunity to compete in different types of events, and even have a professional fight team that successfully competes at the highest levels of martial arts competition. Q. DO YOU OFFER PRIVATE LESSONS? A.Yes, we offer private lessons. Please contact us for more information.
